I wanted a zulu king cake from Ambrosia for my 80th birthday so my daughter in Houston ordered one for me. It came on January 11th day after my birthday. I ordered a special cake for my mother’s birthday from Ambrosia. I spent $125 on this cake. The day of the party, my mother being MOM served the guest before trying the cake herself. Turns out the cake was old and extremely DRY even though it was supposedly made the day before I picked it up. I called and talked to a supposedly supervisor who wanted to give me a $20 store credit.
