City Cafe. - Louisville

I often come here and usually get one of the weekly specials. They have a good variety and their vegetarian options are also quite delicious. I also quite often go to the live lunch of WFPK and Citi Cafe offers good lunch boxes for radio members. It's a great perk and I'm glad to have this cafe so close to my workplace in downtown.

Daily functions are always great. During this visit I had the pulled pigs Tacos! They were delicious and the portions were more than I needed. I had half a salad with super blue cheese dressing. Sweet tea was also great. The café has the same feeling as some of the small settings in New Orleans in the French district. It is a good place to take a break from work....visit this restaurant!

Here for lunch. Pork tacos were amazing as their pasta salad. The staff had a family friendliness. It was refreshing to see a busy staff that was efficient and involved. Definitely a recommendation for people in the area. Very cool artwork displayed.

Ordered the Brisket sandwich, but ended with the mistake of Cuban. The server came to the table without saying anything about it and apologised for its mistake, I told her no big thing because the Cuban was so brilliant.. But she insisted that she'd get me a brisket sandwich. Great experience and good food when you are in the area it is a must try.

Love love love LOVE this place! The worst meal I had here was ok. Pork tacos for Thursday lunch are AMAZING. Bernie and his crew always make me feel like I 'm at home when I 'm there. Do yourself a favor- go.
