We started patronizing Crowler Catering last summer; at first a crowler of craft beer and a bag of popcorn for a Saturday afternoon snack. Then they upped their game and began offering menu items from local restaurants and craft cocktails. We've tried something different nearly every week, and every dish has been fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the Mango Jalapeno Margarita.

I've been such a fan of Crowler Catering, how they've pivoted during the pandemic and how they help other businesses. Crowler carries food and drinks from Louisville restaurants, food businesses and drink brands. Customers order via their site and then either pick up or depending on the location have it delivered. This allows you to order from and support several businesses at once. And that's just what we did tonight! We've been in the mood for Irish food, and with perfect timing, I received a marketing email from Crowler about their new Irish offerings in honor of St. Patrick's Day. I ordered the Irish Beef and Guinness Stew, made by new restaurant The Raven. This came with a Crusty Bread Loaf from Wagon Wheel Bread, a local baker, and I also got Guinness Stout Brownies with Jameson ganache and Bailey's Irish Cream frosting, made by Baked, another Louisville fave. These were delivered just outside my door, right when it was set to be delivered. And it was excellent. The stew had large, tender bits of beef, soft potatoes and carrots. With a little salt, the broth was perfect. The serving size said it was enough for four, but we got three bowls of soup out of it. The soup costed 20. The bread was a star of the meal too. It was the cutest little loaf the perfect amount for the dinner. And it was crust yet very soft. I would get this again and will seek out Wagon Wheel to see what else they make. And you can never go wrong with Baked. This was decadent and festive. Everything Baked makes is a treat for the eyes and taste buds. Crowler Catering also has food from Mayan Cafe, Chef Ellen Gill, Froggy's Gourmet Popcorn, Papa Pretzels, Four Pegs, Derby Balls and Jay's Cheesecakes. It has beer and cocktails by the can and crowler hence their name too. Oh, and check out the KY Crowler Club, a Kentucky beer subscription. Crowler is creative, with great service and helps out other local businesses. I'm so happy to support them!

Shout out to Crowler Catering for delivering the best food! Everything we ordered was fantastic. The chicken noodle soup was absolutely perfect for those chilly winter days spent indoors. The burritos were great as well. We encountered a minor issue with our order, but they resolved it quickly and graciously, delivering the correct items along with two delicious cookies that I couldn't bring myself to share. Thank you once again for the amazing service and food!

We’ve ordered from Crowler several times and the food has been consistently VERY good. But the recent specialty import of Jay’s Cheesecake a fundraiser to support Concert staff affected by Covid was amazing! I am a cheesecake aficionado, and that is probably the very best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Dense, creamy with an amazing crust and a little citrus tang. The stuff cheesecake dreams are made of. Outstanding and for a great cause too !
