Joella's Hot Chicken - Louisville

Whenever I visit my family in Louisville, this restaurant is a must-go. The chicken pieces are delicious, thick, and juicy. I wish they were served a bit warmer (you can choose your own spice level). The sweet tea is also very tasty.

I visited this restaurant excited to try their fried chicken sandwich and sides. The staff was very friendly and provided helpful recommendations on the food and sauces. My order was freshly made and exactly as I requested. However, there was a lot of oil and grease left on the plate. The fries were delicious, but the chicken sandwich was just okay and was dripping with oil. Hopefully, it was just a fluke. The parking was plentiful and the location was convenient.

The fried chicken and waffles at this restaurant are delicious! If you're in town, you must give them a try. I will definitely be returning next time.

This restaurant has Hattie B's vibes....so if you have ever been to one of those in Nashville, it's similar. The place looked great. The food was pretty good too. The hot chicken was decent sized and pretty juicy...not the juciest I've eaten but stillgood. I only got to try 2 flavors neither were hot enough for me so next time I'll try a hotter one. The Mac n cheese was good the truffle fries were good too. I think it's a solid place for hot chicken. Definitely my favorite in Louisville so far!

Amazing food! Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious! Service was wonderful. My kids loved it too!
