You can't go wrong with fajitas; while they were good, a recurring issue I noticed was dryness. The verde sauce was decent, but nothing I would rave about to my friends. The tacos we ordered were just mediocre and didn't justify their price, in my opinion. I tried the tuna taco served in a wonton shell, but I was disappointed to find only two thin slices of tuna atop a large heap of cabbage in a flimsy wonton shell. Although the wonton shell is a nice idea, it crumbled with the first bite, leaving me with just a cabbage salad sprinkled with wonton fragments. The flavor was lacking too, and the balance of ingredients was unsatisfactory. The coconut fish taco was passable, but the fish was broken apart and ended up dry. Similarly, the meat in the al pastor taco was also dry.
Simply fantastic!! The staff is amazing, and the atmosphere is consistently great. It’s our go-to spot every week! I’d give it 10 stars!
This is a fantastic place in Old Louisville. The tacos were exceptional, just like the margaritas. Our server, Dakota, provided excellent and attentive service.
A bit of the southwest tucked away on Main Street in Louisville. Not your run- of-the taco place. Creative flavor combinations, to be sure. Margaritas are among the best I have ever had. Dakota mixes them and adds her unique dash of charm. Owner is gregarious and clearly passionate about the food and drinks.
I wish I could give Verda 5 stars.... and don't get me wrong, it was good enough that we'll definitely return just the food (tacos and salsas) were insanely salty which was unexpected.
