100% Livre - Loulé

I've been meaning to write this review since returning from our hols but got swept away with all the business of life! This little restaurant is a little gem!! it is an unassuming family restaurant with heart-felt values at the core of everything they do. The food was 100% free of gluten, dairy and refined sugar. These people care, they get the connection between health and the food we eat. Our lunch was simply delicious, beautifully presented. everything so thoughtful and caring of the environment. A young couple with a new baby run this restraurant, if you get a chance, don't miss out. they deserve for their courageous intentions to have a huge success with this business, only sorry they're not here in Ireland yet!!If you're heading for Faro, divert to Loule for luch here, you won't be disappointed!

Loved the 4 dishes we had cauliflower soup, mini vegan tacos, makhani vegan curry, followed by raspberry and coconut tart. Also had wonderful beet, ginger, carrot juice and 2 coffees with almond milk. Great flavors, service. Lovely place.

We were advised by friends to try this relatively new restaurant in Loule and no wonder. USP is gluten, sugar and lactose free but based on taste and flavours you would never know. Visited with another couple on a Friday evening. Menu is very limited but what we had was both perfectly presented and tasted wonderful. 3 course, drinks and coffees for four cost €103 and was worth every euro. Starters Fish Mousse with Red Onion Brioche Tacos with Wild Prawns, Pesto Pineapple Mains. Chicken with Lentil Stew, Celery Pear Bacalhau with Chickpea, Saffron Greens Deserts Cocoa Coffee Tart Tapioca with Pineapple Crumble Misc. Filtered water, 4 coffees, 2 glasses of house red Every course was excellent in taste, presentation and quantity High standard of service and the Chef came out to thank us for our custom. Opening hours are restricted but worth any effort to sample some wonderful food.

We were invited for a surprisingly lovely lunch. Service and food were perfect, surprising and refined. We are looking forward to using a lunch again.

We had an excellent lunch at 100%Livre. Food was fresh, full of flavour and obviously made with care and attention to detail. It was great to speak to the chefs/owners and learn about their passion for food and their journey so far. We certainly recommend people visit !!
