Sat and was served within 5 minutes. Ordered House Red Wine and Water. Was given immediately on asking a password for free Wi Fi. Tried the Novilho which was nice but small. The waitress that originally served one sat with her colleague for lunch and was served desserts (I Tried two) by another friendly waitress. The Vanilla Chocalate Cake was heaven which was recommended I enjoyed also my first choice Apple crumble. With coffee the bill came to 22.10 euros without service.I paid by MasterCard offered to add a gratuity but the first Waitress who had now finished her lunch refused as she said it would just go to the bank. Will go back definitely soon.
I 've visited this little gem several times for lunch and have always received great food and service. They are now open for dinner so I thought I 'd try that menu. One of my favorite dishes is favas entracosta ; it happened to be the dish of the day. I was not disappointed when I tasted the first mouthful. I wonder if they serve baccalau au bras?
I discovered this family run restaurant in the side streets of Almancil, through a friend. I am so pleased because this place is packed every lunchtime. That says it all really. You also have the option of meals for thevegan, vegetarian including organic meat and the best apple crumble on the planet.
Found it by chance but so pleased we did! Something for everyone from salads, samosa's, curry, baguettes, quiche through to the yummy crumble. Specials of the day all pretty good as is their fresh orange and carrot juice (you will like it! . Popular with the locals so can get busy but always managed to get a table.
