Contribuisci feedbackWhilst spending a few days in Lourdes we visited Barzu twice, once for coffee and cake, which was excellent. The following day for lunch, that is a filled baguette, followed by a tart with ice cream. Again it was excellent. For the linguistically challenged, like me, they have sandwich menus in English, Spanish, German and Italian. The staff are all pleasant and helpful, prices are reasonable too. I would definitely go again.
Very nice place to eat a tasteful and lovely cake from the area. WE have a sandwiches and cakes and was very nice. Small place in a centre of the town, ideal for a quick snack and good value.
Lourdes is set in the stunning backdrop of the Pyrenees and for its population has a disproportionately large number of hotels, many of which are supplied with select bakery produce by Boulangerie Barzu who also operate Le Boul 'Mich' on the pleasant Place Marcadel. This is a classy Salon de The with a spectacular, mouth watering array and display of cakes and bakery products that match the very best that Paris has on offer. Centrally located Barzu oozes charm and is old fashioned chic in style making it a place to cherish and enjoy. Rhum du Baba here is awesome, the Bavarois succulent and their Gateau Basque is crumbly almondly delicious. To top it all off tea and coffee is served in the style of Grandmother - properly! Inspiration from above is often necessary in order to find nice food in Lourdes : Barzu is simply divine!
NoNo No! _Yes, I ate car takeout this week.
This rating is mostly due to the terribly slow service that we experienced recently on a Wednesday evening.
