Terry's Fish Chips - Lowell Point

The prices didn't match the ambiance at all. The atmosphere is very laid-back, with paper cups, red baskets, and napkin dispensers on the tables. However, the service was friendly and quite efficient, especially considering they only had one server on duty. The "feast for two" could easily have been enough for one person. There were quite a few items unavailable on the menu. On the bright side, it's a fantastic spot for a buffalo burger!

Freshly cooked and incredibly quick! We dined on a busy weekday evening, but our waitress Holly was fantastic—friendly and efficient! The kitchen was equally speedy! Despite the quick service (less than 10 minutes from ordering), the food was very fresh. We tried the smoked salmon chowder, grilled halibut, and a pound of snow crab legs, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend these dishes!

The waitress did mistakenly bring me the wrong basket, but she was very apologetic, quickly placing a replacement order and allowing us to keep the incorrect dish. Thankfully, it didn’t really matter since my sister got the all-you-can-eat option anyway, but it was nice to see her taking responsibility. Unfortunately, in the kitchen's haste to correct the order, one piece of fried halibut was undercooked. I would suggest driving to historic downtown and exploring some of the charming restaurants there instead.

Terry's Fish and Chips is a wonderful local favorite. They have all the best beers on tap. The service is always so personal, it's just a good ole' fashioned restaurant. I would highly recommend the crab legs, it is a lot of crab with tons of extras, one of the best deals in town for crab. Honestly, you just can't go wrong. Go to Terry's. Loved it!

Wouldn 't recommend to a friend. Waitress completely forgot our drinks. Thickly breaded fish was over-cooked to the point of being burnt. The clam chowder was thin bacon chowder. Go someplace else and you will definitely enjoy your dining experience more.
