Afternoon Tea The Garden

Great value for money and a lovely atmosphere good service

Very disappointed pre booked as staying hotel for 2 night's. Limited menu on list but ordered starters and mains. The waitress came back after 5mins to advise that both starters and mains not available they had not had a delivery. Surely the waitress should have been informed before handing out menus. One of us ended up with a soup which was like wallpaper paste and cheese and biscuits and the other a burger our night was spoiled We would have been better off bringing a sandwich with us for our evening meal. The breakfast the next day was better but after hunting for the marmalade was told we don't have any. Really need to get their act together. They don't seem to cope. Sadly we won't return

Lovely food served by helpful young people in the gorgeous garden. We received a warm welcome and were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Staff were attentive but we did not feel under any pressure to finish our tea. The food was all homemade and the scones were particularly light and delicious and served with plenty of fresh cream.

The experience was ok, food was ok. Service was pretty poor. Had to request the discount, also wasn’t warned in advance that you can only have hot drinks included in the afternoon tea, which is fine but a warning would’ve been nice

I had booked an afternoon tea for a belated mother’s day present. The food was lovely and the staff friendly. Would highly recommend.
