World Seafood - Lower Matecumbe Beach

I am not one to write bad reviews on anything i just stop going to the place and don’t recommend it to anyone but i gotta save some people from wasting $40 on this place. We’ve been dining on this place since 2008 and the food was always on point, great variety and of course the snow crab ?. They don’t have the snow crab legs anymore only some small crab that is tasteless and has no meat. The food was not that great and there was not much to choose from either. The only good thing there to eat was the chowder soup and the mahi mahi. The slices of pizza for the kids where so small it 3 slice could make 1 whole slice of pizza. The desserts where the worst part i tried the mini cakes they were all dry and tasteless i took one bite and put them aside. The chocolate strawberries the chocolate was so thick and hard you couldn’t even bite through it and i had to get the chocolate off the strawberry with a fork so i could be able to eat it. Overall not worth the drive now that the gas price is so high and not worth paying $40 for the bad food quality they have nor the variety. I must say the waitress was amazing and very nice She took good care of us and kept the table clean and the view was and still amazing other then that don’t waste your time or money. Never coming back

Horrible food with only 2 friendly staff members. The beef and pasta stations require an employee to serve customers but the one employee working these sections only spoke Spanish. Many of the items were dry and clearly been sitting out for a very long time. Some items were not replenished so there were empty dishes. Save your money, this place is not worth the $40! Only good thing is the view.

The food is disgusting it used to be good we've been coming since 2002 it was such a nice place before terrible customer service they got rid of snow crab and lobster and the blue crab was sitting out and tasted like chum the shrimp tasted like bleach it all was bad will never be coming back

The restaurant and setting is beautiful, the staff were great. The food is terrible. The shrimp was mushy, The crabs tasted like ammonia. prime rib was advertised, it was some sort of a very dry overcooked rump roast/pot roast. it is not prime rib by any stretch. Imitation crab is used in many of the offerings. There is a whole snapper included in the price, we opted for it, it was over cooked and dried waste of a fish. I tried many many items not one thing was edible all the way through. One bite was enough to know. Went on to desserts hoping for better, they are visually appealing. They all matched the same flavorless, mush as the Buffet food. Cannoli shells were soft. The filling was flavorless and dry. Decided to try carrot cake, more disappointment the icing was so dry it crumbled off. Downright terrible, poor quality food, save your $40

They no longer have all you can eat crab legs. The food was dry with no taste. the blue crab was mushy. our party of 7 was so disappointed. They use to be great, been going since 1990. The service was bad also.
