Food was very good, however it was the second time visiting this restaurant. On my first visit my dinner was so good it would be considered world class. On this visit the same meal was not prepared correctly. Will defiantly return and give this dish another chance!
My wife and I both had the Seafood Caseroles. The presentation was great, so was the speed, temperature, portion, etc. Everything was great here and the ambience was not too busy and crowded for a Saturday night. We both had to die for Coconut...Cream Pie, for Dessert. This is a hidden gem in Halifax!
We ate in this restaurant twice, both times with a group oh six and eight. we sat in a small but comfortable dining area that provided us with privacy. The food was great, the staff was attentive. Very recommended.
My husband and I had a meal at this restaurant to celebrate our 49th anniversary. I mentioned this to the server, but they did not offer a free photo to commemorate the occasion. The service was great and the food was good overall. However, there were a few minor complaints, like the salad being in a bowl and the buttermilk dressing being clumpy. The veggies and potato had too much peppercorn, making them inedible. Additionally, the salmon lacked enough dill sauce and my husband's tomato cream soup was too thick. On the plus side, the bread was great and the butter was soft, which I prefer over hard butter on bread. In conclusion, it was a good meal.
