The Foxburrow (beefeater) - Lowestoft

Just what you would expect from a Beefeater: excellent service, a good variety on the menu, early bird discounts, and a pleasant decor with a well-thought-out table layout.

Conveniently situated along the A12 and near the Travel Inn, this delightful restaurant is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal. It offers great value with a simple pub-style menu. I particularly like the layout, which includes several cozy corners that provide a bit of privacy while dining. The tables are nicely spaced, contributing to a comfortable environment. There is ample parking available outside. Upon entering, you'll find a bar where you can relax with a drink before your meal, or just drop by for a drink. In the summer, there are outdoor benches to enjoy the sunshine—let's hope for lovely weather!

I truly adore the Foxburrow/Beefeater! We usually go a couple of times a month because we can always count on excellent service, a fantastic selection, and reasonable prices. The bar is ideal for a quick meal, while the restaurant provides a lovely setting for a more relaxed dining experience. They feature tasty grill options, traditional English dishes, and some pasta choices as well. Once, when there was a slight delay, they kindly offered us a complimentary drink to apologize for it.

This is a great family restaurant that, despite its name, often offers some excellent vegetarian options. This works well for me, as I can enjoy a steak while my friend has a vegetarian meal. It's also a good choice for families, with appealing "kids deals." The restaurant has lots of cozy nooks, so you might just run into someone you know!
