Cowamongus - Lubbock

Always a fantastic spot! They serve some of the best burgers in Lubbock. It's now known as Red Raider Meats Restaurant.

Cowamongus offers the best lunch on the Lubbock campus of Texas Tech. They also provide some of the freshest meats in the area that you can take home or gift to fellow meat lovers. Recently, they have renovated the parking area located directly across from Indiana Avenue at the United Supermarkets Arena.

I wish this restaurant were fully equipped! The dining experience is fantastic, and it honestly offers some of the best burgers in the city. They also provide meat that you can take home and cook. It's the best place to eat on campus and the top spot for buying meat in the city.

The staff was very friendly! Showed me everything they had to offer and took the time to explain any products to me that I didn’t know about! They have some great specialty products! Great prices and the meat selection is well marked!

Our family was born and raise in Lubbock, but forced to work in Houston. Along comes our TTU grad son's wedding and we all wanted to return to the area. COWamongus catered our son's wedding this weekend. Brian and his team did a fantastic job. Brian communicates very effectively with all the planning. The bride/groom were able to do a tasting to chose selections. The meal was delicious served hot, timely, and just as ordered. They cleaned the venue kitchen up spotlessly. Many, many compliments that is wasn't normal, dry, cold wedding food ! Outstanding job to this crew.
