SOUPER SALAD - Lubbock

This place is a little rough. But I get amazing service here, you get a server that is assigned to your table and they have always attentive to serve my drinks saving for like a time in the years I have here. The reason it's rough is the hot bar. I wouldn't trust the hot bar. The pizza is literally school cafeteria pizza and is usually soggy and strange tasting. The meat I don't eat is absolutely revolting and the soups always taste a little old as they sit there all day. I always see the guys coming to fix the salad bar, but not the hot bar that is like a big source of food poisoning. HOWEVER, if you want to come and simply fill in salad for them. They only have a salt and vinegar option for vegans, but that's it. I wish they had healthier salad dressing options. I walk here and see people with a very small plate of salad and then covered with ranch. What shows that it is very easy here to be unhealthy. I love when they have fresh strawberries. They also have desserts, but none are vegan. You take care of the salad bar.

These restaurants are not so friendly. McDonalds has Fritten and Salate. Lucky Cow lists more and more restaurants that do not really meet the vegetarian, we earn more than just to be tolerated. Texas has a $2.13 tilted minimum wage for food workers. Updated by previous review on 2017 04 27

The salad bar is great. (Although I wish there was some bread to go with it, or that they always have a grain like corn or quinoa as one of the salad ingredients choices. However, the soup bar is not of great interest for vegetarians in my experience. Every time I went there (which was 3 times over a period of a few months, the only vegetarian soup was the same potato soup. (I just went there on weekends, so I don't know if the menu changes only on weekdays? I didn't see how the warm pastas changed. The vegetarians were always spaghetti with a marinara sauce, vegetables lasagna (with very few vegetables, and macaroni and cheese. So it was kind of boring to make repeated visits there. I just went back when I was hungry enough to want the all-you-can-eat. The supposedly warm dishes were somehow cold at least one visit.

This Souper Salad is made exceptional especially by the service you get there. Fresh selection, great smile and I just can't say enough about management!

That's one of my favorite restaurants. I'll take my 86-year-old. He loves it. it's so clean, eating is so good, I could eat there every day. we love salat and suppe. the waiting staff is excellent, so friendly and attentive.
