Lovely place to stop, either on a journey or to visit chateaux. In a delightful setting on the banks of Le Loir. Very helpful staff

We have been dining at this restaurant mainly outside on the terrace for years until covid put paid to our visits to France. Delighted to find the same owners and the same high quality of the meal. The setting couldn't be better; a shaded terrace on the edge of the river Loir, so peaceful. Starters of hake lobster with a macedoine, and seared tuna with fresh vegetables. Main courses monkfish and sirloin steak. Dessert strawberry pavlova with a strawberry coulis and ice cream. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and friendly. We finished off with coffee sat on chairs on the edge of the Loir. I can truly say we cannot remember a more memorable and happy meal.

This is our stop over on the way to southern France but next time we will stay a few days and enjoy the local attractions. It is a small courtyard hotel in a very quiet hamlet and worth the detour. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is safe parking. You can dine indoors but if the weather is fine there are tables next to the river where you can see jumping fish and Kingfishers. However the food and service is the attraction here with a wonderful evening to be anticipated. There is a fixed menu at 33€ which is good value for the quality of food received. The staff are informal and friendly and were happy to serve us a drink next to the river in the late afternoon. We look forward to our next stay.

Unfortunately we were not able to dine on this terrace because of a last-hour storm but this little haven of peace on the edge of the lorry in the shadow of a splendid tree is a major asset of this restaurant where we dine in the room that would deserve a makeover. Superb menu with poached foie gras, turbot and chocolate biscuit, very well arranged and tasty. a kind, attentive and efficient service. A nice evening.

What does the people demand? a perfect welcome, succulent dishes and a nice setting, it is really just happiness!!!!!!!! Congratulations to the chef. cordially.
