Wednesdays for an impromptu dinner. there is a decent parking lot with a short walk to the bar entrance. beautiful bar area with a few wood burners that were illuminated and gave the pub a real warm and cozy feeling. friendly staff welcome them at the bar. the menu is extensive enough; filled with pub classics, vegetarian options and light to lunch. gastbrauer offer a break from the norm. the food is freshly cooked to order and arrived cake hot and tasty. well worth a return visit and is recommended to everyone.

Here is my review of trip advisor : “Very pampering traditional land pub” 5 of 5 stars on Thursday they visited here for a friend birthday drink, they made a beautiful buffet so praised to return with my family we did tonight. nice friendly welcome, a great chill out for a few hours and excellent eating. we had the 3 courses that all dishes were well presented, eating itself was full of taste and served very professional, pub best. they get what they pay so that the whole round it deserves an excellent rating of us. we eat most of the weekends and this will be added to our list of favourites to drink no reservations for family friends: visited september 2016

Great country pub, very friendly atmosphere. The staff are really accommodating and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. The food was lovely and plentiful just what was needed on a cold wet day. We will be returning soon , but will book first so as not to disappointed.

I was out yesterday for sunday lunch to celabrate my nan's birthday, we had a beautiful meal in a very friendly and relaxed pub. Would recommend for sure xx

Thanks for the invitation to do glitter tattoos at the beer festival, the kids were great and parents very kind , i asked if i wanted food and drink by all , 2 of the customers even offered me sunscreen !! Friendly bunch i must say x
