We traveled for a festival in the area and came across Sam's Steakhouse. We had no idea what to expect but were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant. The ambience is quiet and surprisingly intimate, given its size. We ordered sodas but there are plenty of cocktails to choose from as well as a variety of wines. I began my meal with the fried avocado with pico de gallo. Delicious! My friend was more than pleased with her salmon entre as was I with my perfectly cooked filet mignon. The sides are delicious as well. There is always room for dessert and we both enjoyed creme brulee and an apple cobbler. Not sure when I'll be in the area again but, if I am, Sam's will definitely be my dinner distination!
