I am very pleased with the value for money compared to similar localities in the region.
The bridge house has developed for decades from a left-alternative pub (a public that still attracts it) with 2 vegetarian options on the menu to a family-friendly place with a reduced but varied and decent menu. they expect mostly unpretentious pub dug that, but is low in price and decent quality. the staff are very friendly and show a good feeling of humor. expect them to book at peak times (weekend and second Tuesday every month when there is a pub quiz). they also expect that they wait for a while to eat when the place is filled, and sometimes the workers get the orders wrong (for which they not only offer an excuse, but in which a free drink, that is, no complaining there). they also expect that they have a small kitchen, so there can be problems to synchronize the arrival of food. this is a great location both in winter and summer. enjoy the view over the river, or relax with a cocktail; enjoy glowing wine in winter or play a game with pool with friends in the upper floor smoker area. alternatiw, bring the family with for a large selection of breakfast items on Sunday morning. another bonus: the kitchen remains open late.
I often visit the bridge house when I visit Ludwigsburg. My friends and I love the beer garden on the banks of the Neckar. Often you can watch passing ships. The staff is very friendly and the snacks are delicious. There are enough packing possibilities....A bus stop is nearby and bicycles can be parked. Unfortunately, there is no Wifi. I am very satisfied with the price-performance ratio compared to similar localities in the area.
The Brückenhaus has been around for decades, and has evolved from a lefty-alternative pub (an audience it still attracts) with vegetarian options on the food menu to a family-friendly place with a reduced but varied and decent menu. Expect chiefly unpretentious pub grub, which,...however, is low in price and decent quality. The staff are very friendly, and display a good sense of humour. Expect to book ahead at peak times (weekends and second Tuesday every month, when there's a pub quiz). Also expect to wait for your food a while when the place is packed, and sometimes staff get the orders wrong (for which they offer not only an apology, but typically a free drink, so no complaints there). Also expect that they have a small kitchen, so there may be trouble syncing the arrival of the food. That aside, this a great location in both winter and summer. Enjoy the view over the river, or relax with a cocktail; enjoy mulled wine in the winter, or play a game of pool with friends in the upstairs smoking area. Alternatively, bring the family along for a great choice of breakfast items on Sunday morning. Another bonus: the kitchen stays open late.
We were here for four. after a nice walk wanted to eat and drink. simply decorated(we were outside.) because of the trees nicely shaded, with a little outsight on the teaser. unfortunately a bit too loud, because it is in a curve.Service to drink was ok. all very cold and quickly brought. Our food came in advice: salat- goes so 2x flaky cake small portion (very small:( ) and when we were almost finished: hamburger (unfortunately not much better than you get it with the big ones)het also photographed the bill. but the waitress has taken everything in his head and we have not got any!? everyone knows if you go.. we no longer have.
