We stayed at night in hamburg and our friend drove us to the city of her childhood where her mother still lives. it is about an hour from hamburg. the best tasty bite was here at midday. her mother and I had the leber and wobble: superb....my hubby...had carving: he loved it......ad friend had a chicken dish. our tellers were clean after we finished what was brought to us. we have shared a marschcapone cream for dessert! service attention....NOT cost-effective.......but quality eat and presentation. Never forget it.
When we wanted to revisit this place for a drink after an exhausting car ride, we were denied because it was a good half hours before the closing. we have been said in uncertain conditions.
I have eaten several times here and I highly recommend it! very nice location, great German food (don't miss the carving good choice of the weine.
Lovely setting right next to the castle, delicious and beautifully presented dishes and very friendly and welcoming serving staff. We would highly recommend the salmon fillet and schnitzel and are already looking forward to our next meal at this great little restaurant.
