This family-run business has been in existence since 1981 and is popular with both tourists and locals. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very happy to discuss the various dishes. The calamari was delicious but the real star of the show for us was the paklava. We were so impressed with our evening meal that we went back the following day and enjoyed a sharing platter for lunch.
The gyros is the best I have tried ! Best Greek food in Germany ! We will be back again. We loved the oil they used in the salad so much we even bought a bottle to take home. There were even authentic Greek wines to have with our meals simply amazing.
Planning a short holiday in Lübeck also included planning a visit in Korfu restaurant. We dined there a few years back and had good memories. We were not disappointed. We decided to share a plate of various starters, and this was a rather large portion of good Greek specialities, and could almost go for a full meal. I was hungry enough to go for a main meal of chicken, which was also very good. Then we could not eat anymore, but an ouzo or two could not do any harm. We had shared a bottle of Crete wine to the meal, which was nice. The same wine is found in many supermarkets in Greece, but the wine card in Korfu restaurant had further and more expensive offers. The restaurant also offers a variety of wine, olive oil and other Greek products for sale, and we were tempted to buy 2 bottles of Limniona wine and a Virgin olive oil to take home. The food is good, the service is good and actually there is only one advice to visitors in Lübeck: Go Greek!
Very nice Greek restaurant in Lübeck. Nice setting and the atmosphere is good. Very friendly staff. The food is good and there is enough.
The servings are very generous, so you can really get a lot of food for not so much. The tzaziki, feta cheese and gyros were really good, on the other hand the lamb was too chewy.
