The “Alten Brauhaus” (the historical letter on the wall of the house was, fortunately, preserved) refers to itself as “coffee bar”. Core competency is, of course, primarily the confectionery, which at the counter immediately after the entrance also welcomes with numerous cakes and cakes in the glass showcase. Some breakfasts are also served by hearty small dishes and snacks, which brought me here in an afternoon. In terms of furnishing, there seems to be some time left in the “light view”. Rattan furniture and countless different screen lamps characterize the interior, which does not leave a “old”, but also does not leave a relaxed and modern atmosphere. A little “as with Grandma” the atmosphere here is most likely for my personal feeling. For me, the service of the landlord can be briefly evaluated with a “good”. Friendly and attentively she acted without, however, remaining permanently in memory with special cordiality. There could not be any tasty, or overwhelmingly praised words. Since the time of the day had been a bit advanced during my visit as I said, I decided with the “Fischers Abendbrot” for a hearty compilation with a focus on mariners. (click on the picture) “Fischers Abendbrot”: Hausgebeizter Lachs with Honey-Senf-Dill-Sauce Matjes with Onion Stirring with North Sea Crabs Black bread and rolls. The following trilogy was added to the most likely purchased and thus not quite fresh black bread and rolls in standard quality: house-dressed salmon came with a beautifully delicate texture but unfortunately not as intense aroma as desired. However, the honey-senf-dill sauce with good balance of sweetness, sharpness and acidity, as well as a clear dill aroma could convince taste. Matjes and onions enjoyed me with freshness and nice bite as well as with a very good salt level. This left a beautiful wort without having to empty the next water bottle. Last but not least, Büsumer crabs were classically combined with scrambled eggs. Here, for my taste, the handle to the salt shaker was definitely necessary and also from the crabs I would have promised myself even more fresh own taste A price of €13.9, in view of the quality, I already felt as sporty, which, however, did not leave a painful feeling when paying. For me, I can summarize the short contribution to the “light vision” in such a way that, as a guest, one does not return to the tourist stream on the front row with a bad mood. However, you will certainly find some more delicious points of contact at the Lübecker bay with some detailed search.
