Yam-Yam - Lübeck

Food was ok but the Waitress was definitely not trained to serve Clients professionally.I also got a Bill showing a lower amount & was asked to pay a larger amount due to some computer problem at their end. Did not leave a good feeling. Will never visit again

Da fuori non gli daresti una possibilità, ma l'ho fatto e sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto. Il menù è solo in tedesco. La cucina è asiatica (thai, vietnamita... un po' di tutto). I piatti sono molto abbondanti e gustosi. I nudeln sono proposti in molte versioni. Ho provato anche gli springroll di gamberi ed erano molto buoni. Cottura al wok gustosa. Sul bere non c'è molto, qualche birra industriale asiatica e del vino (mai provato). Il conto è giusto. Attenzione perchè non accettano carte di credito.

Freundliches, nicht aufdringliches Personal. Übersichtliche Speisekarte. Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. In 3 Tagen 3 verschiedene Gerichte verspeist. Geschmack 1A. Auch die Weine können sich sehen lassen. Fazit: Wiederholungsfaktor = 100 %

The place was recommended by a local to us. It's not so presentable but very tasty - and cheap too. I'll go there again next time I'm in Lübeck. No menu in English.

If you turn left while leaving the station you'll find Yam Yam at your right hand. The open kitchen is now separated by glass so no more smoke in the restaurant. After arrival at 7 pm half of the 24 inside seats were occupied. Within 20 minutes the restaurant was full! You also can have your meal outside. Do not be put off by the exterior because the food is good. And everything is freshly prepared!The wan tan soup was superb. Well stocked with vegetables and shrimp, among others. The won ton was blissful, not too far-cooked what you sometimes see.Main dishes: duck and chicken with coconut and curry and lots of vegetables. Both too nice to even leave something.Many people drink beer with this food, but try the Graubunder white wine!Staff is friendly, helps you out and can speak English too.Yam Yam is very good!!
