Barbarossa - Lüneburg

Large and comfortable. We went with a big group and they managed to cope with all our orders (of both food and drinks)

Really loved the decor of this bar come restaurant. Have dined here with friends twice and really enjoyed the experience both times. I had the satay sticks for lunch and they were exceptional. ( I have travelled a lot to Asia so thats saying something)Great find a real little treasure.

This place is styled as an absurd composition of traditional Germanic design mixed with Asian elements, which does not prevent it from being very enjoyable to observe. Nice bar atmosphere with dimmed colored lights, mixed with traditional lusters and Harry Potter-style Video "paintings" of old kings on large LCD screens, soft arm-chairs, and kamin together with various Budda statues create a charming and cozy atmosphere. The food is similarly mixed in styles. They serve mostly Thai food, sometimes with slight African tones, but also offer sushi (haven't tried it so can not say about quality), as well as some quite traditional German food. Nice specials for long lasting lunch time, but i mostly go there for dinner.

My husband and I happened in here as we were strolling around the town, and were drawn in by the unique, eclectic atmosphere. Lots of candles, brass chandeliers, plus really good food and outstanding service. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant
