Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I ordered from a Kurdish restaurant for takeout at 7PM. Despite receiving text and email messages prompting me to click a link to check-in and notify the restaurant of my arrival, neither method worked. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 6:45, I called the number on the curbside sign. Despite being early, I was told to wait in my car until my order was ready. After waiting until 7:10, I called again and informed the staff of my location, expressing my disappointment that they were now 10 minutes late. Eventually, my order was brought out to me, but my ice had melted and I was not given a spoon for my soup, only a package containing a fork and knife. I had to leave my hotel room on the 2nd floor, change into clothes, and go to a gas station to get a spoon. Additionally, all of the hot items in my order were cold. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The cookies were extremely dry, the cornbread was overcooked and also dry, the macaroni lacked flavor, and the tea was disappointing. However, the main entree was fantastic! The service was good as well. I did not appreciate feeling like I was being watched in the checkout area as if I were going to steal something.

Visited on 4/2/2022 in the morning. It took a few minutes to be seated, which was understandable. However, the real issues started once I was seated. It seemed like nobody wanted to wait on me. There were other customers who arrived after me but received their drinks and food before I did. I had to repeatedly ask for basic items like utensils, creamer for my coffee, and sugar. The waiter was polite, but it was clear she had other tables to attend to. Eventually, I decided to leave. I would not recommend this place for solo travelers or busy individuals like myself, as they may feel neglected and undervalued. This was one of the most unwelcoming solo dining experiences I have ever had, prompting me to write this review despite not usually doing so.

Eating was good, but the service was very slow. the waiting staff was very friendly.

I arrived a little before 7 and it wasn't busy but still took forever to get a waitress, when we finally put our order in it came out completely wrong! We received our food around 7:45 but I didn't want to send it back and wait however long for the right orders to come, it was just a horrible experience. The service is normally good but I guess I caught them on an off night..
