Lone Star Charlie's Family - Lufkin

The mother and the pop, home cooked meal restaurants are almost one thing of the past. We were thrilled to find this little jewel. The food was brilliant and reminded me of the grandmother's house. We loved it absolutely!

Outstanding location for family dinners. I'll probably be regular. the bill was good for what you got. this place has good reviews for a reason.

I always enjoyed eating in Lone Star Charlie's... like some of us just call it Charlie's All their food is delicious and just now because of Covid-19 our trip to the salad bar has to stop what is very understandable. But we're served at our table. The staff is always so friendly, friendly and up to Earth. Enjoy the Cornbread Muffins with my meal. You get 2 muffins and you get only one role if you have the role I had the Hamburger Steak Pattie, roasted casserole casserole and broccoli cheese. Enough for meals for me.

So happy to comment today! I often eat there, but today was extraordinary!! In every business, especially when busy, small details are missed. That's understandable. Today RG was our server. Amazingly hospitable, carefully listen to our order, and wrote it as we wanted. This is all a server can do to get it right. The kitchen staff read the order, cooked it EXACTLY, as we wished, server held coffee cups full, food was amazing, everyone did OUTSTANDING, including the checkout! Two lucky campers here!
