Orchid Restaurant Bar - Lugano

Went there with a company of friends some time ago. The place itself is very nice and quite, conveniently located. Staff is quite friendly and nice. Service is fast. But, there were some disappointments: Appetisers came quite small. The selection of vegetarian dishes is extremely poor and the portion of egg fried rice is also quite small and boring. I had noodles with shrimps and my friend had the same order. My portion was almost 1.5 times smaller than my friend's. That looked ridiculous. But, I have to say that the taste was very good. Overall, I was rather disappointed by our visit, but the place is nice and food is good.

Been with some friends that already knew the restaurant. There was a good choice of food in the buffet. All of them good. Only detail is everything with chicken. I haven’t seen pork or beef or prawns. Service was attentive and fast. Will come back for sure

Nice and small Thai, went twice, both at lunch and dinner. At lunch generous and rich buffet with good quality food. At dinner I had the soup and red curry, which were delicious. Service very kind and value for money good.

Good food...a bit heavy though for Thai cuisine. Still I would recommend the place.

Good price-performance ratio for Swiss prices. Food was good.
