Sayuri - Lugano

Spectacularly delicious Japanese. we get a lot of great japaners after home, but this is as good as everyone. the dingy decoration described by previous reviewers is all gone and it is a beautiful underground restaurant. the hostes were also so beautiful and warm. we had the okonomiyaki, katsu and gyoza and all were wonderfully tasteful, well cooked and looked amazing. highly recommended!

I have eaten sushi all over the world, including tokio, and while sayuri would not get five stars in tokio or london, it is by far the best sushi and roll that I found in lugano. great effort sayuri!

Definitiw the best sushi place in lugano. amazing sushi, especially the drachenmaki and uramaki spicy salmon, and the nudeln yaki soba were exceptional! a really nice atmosphere and eating really quickly arrived. the staff is always really friendly and I had the eating countless times! will definitely come back.

Sayuri Japan Restaurant nice Ambiente simple facility, but still nice; there’s many tables kind and anxious service (spoke basic English) the food was nice. We ordered Philadelphia Maki Rolls, mixed tempura, rice cake with hot sesame sauce and ice cream mochi. All of it was delicious and fresh. Especially the sushi fish was fresh and tasty. the prices are more on the expensive side, but considering the freshness and quality of the fish it‘s totally ok. Staff had their child in the restaurant playing on a tablet, which seemed a little unprofessional The music seemed a bit off for a (Japanese) restaurant

Maybe an ok place for Lugano if you are craving for some change in flavor. Just don’t have your expectation up too much. I ordered udon. It is too salty and the overall food quality is no good.
