The restaurant is very nice with a great selection of local food. The service is excellent. I tried the mussels and they were delicious. The meatballs also looked really appealing, so I might try them next time! I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Local cuisine Battin beer in a romantically lit small space down the street from Les Comtes de Mean Hotel.
Very friendly, nice beer selection. Food was very good! Strangely the mayonnaise was weirdest I ever tried, served separately next to French fries. Looked kinda homemade. Price range a bit over average I would say.
We arrived at around 6:45pm and managed to avoid the dinner rush. The restaurant had English menus, which made it easier for us. There was only one guy working as both waiter and host, so the service was great when he was able to attend to us. However, he was quite overwhelmed as the restaurant became full. This was my first time trying beef tartare and I thought the spices were perfectly balanced. The foie gras was a bit less rich and tougher than I remembered, which was a bit disappointing. However, the other dishes on the menu complemented it well. I noticed that most customers were enjoying the meatballs and hamburger. The presence of a wine rack and a koi pond on the floor was a pleasant surprise, and it was fun to look at. The clear floor covering by the front door was a unique touch.
