Ruan's Asian Bistro - Lumberton

Went to ruan’s, as it was convenient to the marriott next door for the trip. enjoy the kung pao beef and teriyaki chicken; good portions and fresh veggies. jump rolls were in order, but more like normal egg rolls. No matter, a good choice for the price.

Great food and fast service. friendly staff. my daughter and I shared a mother daughter dinner and we enjoyed it.

I can't believe I never knew this place existed. this is the first Japanese restaurant in the district robeson, with which I was 100% satisfied, it even has the Japanese places I was beat in fayetteville. first, from the outside it is easily missed, but as soon as it is in ruan clean, ordered, and classic with a beautiful and friendly atmosphere. second, our server was great. she was attentive, without being overlaid, and she was kind and had a good time to recommend the things we asked and tell us how and who did it and what she thought we really wanted. finally, I'm coming to dinner. presentation was simple and striking, everything was very appealing plated. the portion sizes were distributed healthier. everything I was served was perfect. the salad was fresh, no soggy or over ripe pieces. that will break. I can't describe how happy I was with this dressing. from any store bought or restaurant ingwer dressing I had in many states, this dressing was my favorites. my gratitude for the one who made it. the sweetness that came with my gut was perfectly cooked. not too tight, not soggy, not over spiced or oily, so I could still enjoy their natural taste. I also have chicken, garnel and medium-sized steak. the spicy was super and the meat was so tender that I was just staring at my teller and thought wow, why is that so good? extra points to know how to prepare a medium rare steak properly without cooking it over and the half of the price of other similar restaurants. overall I give a 10/10 for my first visit. they will take the cards for me if they ever start serving takoyaki and sesame seed ice cream.

I ordered sushi. It was well put together and had great flavor. My experience was takeout, but the lady at the front was helpful and polite. Absolutely no issues.
