San Jose Mexican - Lumberton

Last night, the food we ordered was definitely soggy. When we asked for a replacement, we were met with a conversation that made us feel like we were in the wrong. I’ll be heading to Elizabethtown in San Jose instead, as the food there has always been better. I won't be returning, and that $70 was the most wasted money I've ever spent.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Chicken Spinach dish. It may seem a bit understated, but the quality of the food was definitely on point.

Typically, the food is quite good, but tonight was a huge letdown. I ordered the fresh Guacamole Dip and was served something that looked like a mess. It seemed like they must have used a bad avocado. I'm really disappointed.

I ordered the Burrito Ruleta and my friend ordered the Pina loca. I enjoyed my Burrito when he was filled with meat and was 12 inches.

Great service and food. Pollo loco and carne asada fries. Definitely recommend.
