However, ever since there was a change in management, the quality of the food has significantly declined. During our visit tonight, which was the first in nearly two years, we were reminded of why we had stopped coming in the first place. We both ordered the fish and chips. While the chips were decent, the fish was overcooked, greasy, and one piece even had a swampy taste. The fish and chips at Butler's are much better, and even the ice at Scoops in Lumsden is superior. There is no reason to spend our money at this place.
I ordered a cheeseburger at this restaurant and it was decent. It wasn't anything special, but I would consider returning to sample some of their other menu items.
Following in our annual summer tradition over over 45 years we stopped here for a corn dog with plum dipping sauce. Wasn't disappointed at all. But the ice cream is Chapmans. Its ice milk not ice cream. Take a drive into Lumsden for real ice...cream.
Under cooked corn dogs,THE BATTER WAS STILL LIQUID. DOGS BOTH cold ...fries arent worth it if you are going to charge that much least you could do is make from potatoes... not frozen starched fries...and a poutine has GRAVY and cheese..kind of missed the gravy...here.. and get milkshake straws that dont collapse when you look at them.. used my spare MD's one worked better! serious waste of my money definitely will skip next time and drive to Coney Island in Regina...
The fries here are probably the best around Regina and area. Really crisp and they have a ton of flavour. I’ve tried the corn dog and hot dog which are both generic and fine. The fries are the real stand out. Worth the drive from...Regina!
