The pizza at this restaurant is amazing. The sauce is the best, and the crust is delicious. I also tried the donair and it was great!
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the prices are incredible. While driving to Lunenburg, we almost missed this place but decided to stop by. It is connected to a store and gas station, so it is not a fancy establishment. However, it is clean, including the washrooms, and the signs on the wall are entertaining to read. Their lunch specials are fantastic! We ordered the one piece fish and chips, along with a can of pop for $5. When our meal arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the haddock fillet and the quality of the food. The piece of fish was so large that it barely fit on the plate. It was perfectly cooked in English style, served with homemade tartar sauce, coleslaw, and home cut fries. All of this for only $5. The service was a bit slow, but it was not a big issue for us. We noticed that some customers had called in their orders ahead of time. The garlic fingers and donairs also looked appetizing. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
This is a really great pizza place. Easily one of the best in Lunenburg. I've had pizzas there for a long long time. My mom is a huge supporter of this place. They make great pizzas and that is not all folks. They're even good at making fish n' chips. Trust me, they are better than Big Red's fish n' chips even though they are good too. I even order panzerottis there occasionally. Fried panzerottis are high in calories, but are really tasty. Heck, even their donairs are great. Oh and I'm not stopping there. They also have great retro-style decor. A lot of retro-style posters from the 50's 60's and 70's and even retro-style stools. Bobbie Fletcher from The Loud House would love to stop there sometime cuz they do server hamburgers there. Yeah, yeah, she's a fictional character. But, someone dressed up aka. cosplaying as her might still stop there. The Pizza Cut is a great pizza place to stop to for any person who is willing to try out a pizza in Lunenburg. Their pizzas, panzerottis, donairs, fish n' chips and hamburgers are a must have. Only complaint here is that they don't serve soda from the fountain. Although, canned pop is still good in my books. Check this place out if you have the chance and there's a good reason why mom supports it.
First thing to note if you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you. Our order took close to a half hour. But it was for two very good reasons. First, the cook was also the waiter and the cashier. One person operation. Reasonable when you think k of the location. Second and most importantly everything is made from scratch. The mozzarella burger was fantastic. The panzerotti was enormous and had a big variety of stuff in it, including plenty of cheese. The only disappointment for me was I didn't actually see a milkshake in the menu, which is one of the reasons I went in the first place. The whole 50s thing isn't really applicable outside of some signs on the walls. But if that isn't a big deal, and you're interested in real food and have time to wait for it, give this place a shot if you're in the area. It was worth stopping.
