Although it is overpriced l wanted to have good food with Italian flavor. However the minestrone soup was too hot and it burned all my mouth, it was also too salty that l hardly finished it. After that l had bruschettas which were also too salty, couldn’t finish all. I paid more than 600 pesos for only these two dishes and left dissatisfied. I wouldn’t return. The service was excellent though, thanks to the waitress.
I had pasta with meatballs. The meatballs were the worst I have ever tasted. Could not eat them. The salad was skimpy. My friends shared chicken which they said was great. For the high price I expected better Italian. I don't plan to go back. Ragu sauce would be an improvement. Meat balls after the flavor of Sabaro would help. But maybe they want one time customers.
Sometimes the food is hit and miss, it's sometimes well cooked or sometimes underseasoned and bland. The ambience is good, no loud obnoxious music, the TV showing basketball games is a little out of place, like a bistro pretending to be a sports bar. Lastly, this place PRICY, a dinner for 2 can easily set you back P1,000.00, not much for someone on a splurge but it isn't for regular working stiffs. Food portions are generous, too generous that even a lunch portion (their version of half) is good for 2.
The food is in over generous portions, nice and great flavour and not over priced. They have a quantity of staff who are most attentive to ones need, smiling and very polite to serve their customer. You must try the pasta dish name seafood chiopinno as it has the spiciness and a generous portion of seafood on top.
