Chez Justine - Lurs

On your way from Marseille to Grenoble (or the other way around), this is a perfect spot to stop for lunch. It’s close to the Route National, with only a minor detour through the mountains to get to Lurs (4 kms). Chez Justine is situated next to the centuries-old church (10th century), on a small square. Its terrace gets some shade from the trees. The high altitude provides an astonishing view over the valley. There is no printed menu, just the blackboard listening the different platters and meat dishes. Plain and simple food, but of a good quality. Dishes cost between 10-15€. Service is charming. Prices go well with the quality of the food. The view is gratuit!

A great place to enjoy a relaxed lunch with a lovely view and friendly service. It takes some time for the food to arrive as it is freshly prepared so sit back and enjoy a glass of wine or two.

Fabulous views of snow capped mountains in far distance ..busy on a weekend...although seating is outside so on a rainy Sunday it seemed closed. Visited a couple of times during our stay in the area..great selection of ice creams! Lurs is a great village to visit and enjoy the views...popular with walkers and cyclists ...we even saw two people arrive on their horses !

Très belle vue... nous avons pris une salade méli-mélo, parfaite, copieuse et des produits locaux !!!Je recommande ce petit café. Un petit bémol sur le temps d'attente mais c'est les vacances... Et l'accueil a été très sympathique.

Petit arrêt café glace très sympathique en allant se promener à Lurs. Joli endroit, tres belle terrasse sur la vallée de La Durance. Gentillesse de l'accueil
