Sainsbury's Cafe - Luton

So many issues on this visit. So many issues with the food and having to send it back etc and the staff just aren’t great. It’s gone down hill so much in recent years.. total avoid now

The breakfast at Sainsbury is Excellent value for your money always done as you like it if you want your egg hard it is done hard or you can change it for scrambled egg

Very rude staff, robbery. All trains first and last visit. Strongly recommend anywhere else.

I had a wonderful lunch in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was hot and delicious, and the surroundings were lovely and bright. I will definitely be returning again.

I have visited this cafe a few times now. I must say, this cafe in the north of Luton is not too bad for what it offers. However, despite it being January on a Monday afternoon, this will be the one chain cafe I will not be returning to. I usually come to this supermarket regularly for a spot of lunch. I agree with the previous reviews, this cafe is disappointing. When I arrived in the mid-afternoon, it was fairly busy with few staff members. There was quite a queue to order, but they do offer decent hot food, cakes, and drinks. Initially, I thought the staff could benefit from better training, as the lady at the till seemed unsure of what to do and was slow in processing orders. When I tried to order take-out, the woman did not seem to understand my request despite repeating it several times. It was so bad that she had to come up to me, causing embarrassment to other customers and staff. The service was slow and lacked enthusiasm, with a disorganized feel to the cafe. The company should consider addressing these issues promptly.
