Restaurant Wagyo - Lutry

I highly recommend this restaurant! It is classy, with its own parking and right by the lakeside with a gorgeous view of the port and lake. The food is delicious and freshly made with obvious care. The personnel were very polite and always there when we needed them. The price is a bit higher than at average restaurants but definitely worth it! I can't wait to eat there again!

It is now some time ago the management changed at Ko-an and we returned a couple of times since we were positively surprised with the new setup. The restaurant decoration did not change, still nice view on Lutry harbor, but more important, the sushi and other food is still high quality and excellent. On top the new manager is very knowledgeable with excellent local wines which makes. A very good place to enjoy Japanese specialties.

I know this restaurant since many years. Was very good.This evening I came back for Sashimi and Sushi.The head chef had changed. Result: the worst japan meal/food we ever had.I am warning other potential guests: down go there!The food is very expensive, quality terrible!I am sorry to see this, but it happens sometimes.

We went to this restaurant with our daughters on August 1st, the Swiss National holiday,. We were lucky enough to have a view of the lake and able to watch some of the lake fireworks.The food is fresh and tasty. we had a sushi boat, and enjoyed everything. Friendly service, and very pleasant ambianceas other travellers have noted it is quite pricey but worth it.
