Mamacita - Luxembourg City

Gorgeous flavourful vegan options. The guacamole almost comes in a VAT! The staff are super helpful, we’ll be back for sure.

Finding vegan food in Luxembourg on a Sunday proved a challenge. Several places claiming to be open were not. Others had signs up advertising their plant-based fare and had the kitchen closed on Sundays and Monday. Mamacita was open. It was busy at 2:30 pm and had affluent-feeling crowd. The service staff were initially brisk but actually turned out to be extremely helpful. We waited a really long time to be served, but when they came to the tale they talked us through the vegan options and were happy to make recommendations. They modified several dishes and separated dairy from a number of sides. I ordered the CHILAQUILES VERDURAS (with no egg or cheese) and had FRIJOLES and sweet potato fries on the side. The food was really good. It would be great if they had a few specifically vegan items on the menu.

Best Mexican style food in Europe. This restaurant was terrific from the guacamole dip, margaritas and fajitas to the stellar service. Don't miss this gem.

Friendly staff, great food and drinks, highly recommended. Tried Enchiladas from their special dishes, mamacito margarita and churros for dessert, everything absolutely delicious!
