Coop - Luzern

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Coop supermarket. We paid according to the food amount and plate size (2 plates and a piece of fruit pie CHF28.55). We enjoyed the crispy fries. The toilet provided requires CHF1 to be used.

I like eating at places like this that you have your choice of many different food options. My husband is a meat-and-potatoes guy and I prefer fresh veggies and salad and we can both be happy here. There are plenty of yummy desserts to choose from as well as bakery goods, fresh breads and coffees. You can also get wine and beer. Another nice feature is they have a bathroom. There is usually plenty of seating. Two people can eat here for $30-$40 and be quite satisfied.

In expensive Switzerland, a valid alternative for lunch without bleeding out.

Very good food, friendly service, what more could you want!
