Made in Sud - Luzern

The food was really great especially pizza’s! apart Spaghetti Vongole which was insanely bad by all the means. But I just can’t give them 5* and let me explain you why.. this restaurant if we can call it like that is far away from Family friendly place. we were 3 people with a small child. We have ordered salads for starters and for the child we took pizza. I explicitly told them to bring the pizza with salads at the same time, as also i have mentioned that the child will eat pizza.. we got salads and no pizza. I mean thanks god that our child was polite and didn’t make the scene, even though she was starving.. we got the pizza with rest of our mains in the next 40min.. the most frustrating point was that they kept bringing food for the tables that came much later than we did. Not even to mention how spaghetti alla vongole situation was held the owner i guess? asked what was wrong with it, as I tried just few bites and had to leave full plate. I explained him really politely and I didn’t complain, I genuinely admired the good pizzas, but what the guy said was “ oh, this one is one of our most popular dishes, i don’t know why you didn’t like it, everybody likes it” dafuq? How arrogant can one be? Of course we were charged for the pasta and this person didn’t even properly said goodbye or apologized? This review is just for improvements. Best regards.

Tasty food and pleasant treatment from the staff.

Das Essen im Made in Sud ist einfach unglaublich gut! Die hausgemachte Sugo schmeckt wie bei Nonna, die Carbonara ist besser als in Italien und Strozzapreti Frutti di Mare sind einfach nur vorzüglich! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Weine haben immer eine optimale Temperatur und der Gastgeber stellt sie einem vor und man kann davon probieren, bevor man bestellt. Der Gastgeber verwendet nur Fleisch aus artgerechter Haltung und die meisten Produkte sind Bio.Zum Schluss gibt es noch einen richtigen italienischen Espresso. Auch die hausgemachten Desserts sind sehr zu empfehlen!Man fühlt sich im Made in Sud wie in Italien. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant jedem weiter und gehen schon ganz bald wieder! Grazie!

Wir waren von einer langen Wanderung auf dem Heimweg als wir endlich mal das Restaurant testen wollten. Mega Hammer fein. super feine Pasta frisch zubereitet, Bio Fleisch aus der Region und Preise die man als Familie noch bezahlen kann. sehr Aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Hier setzt man auf Qualität. alles was wir bestellt haben war Mega fein. Wir kommen wieder. danke

Ideal restaurant. whether as a lunch menu the delicious pasta or the wonderful pizza or in the evening with friends to eat extensive with appetizer and main course. very balanced map and everything they offer is also prepared in good quality. always like to come!
