Syros Greek Italian - Lynden

When she finally approached us, she asked if we were paying separately with a rather snotty attitude. We ended up leaving our payment, including a tip, on the table since we couldn't locate her. To our surprise, she chased us down the block, claiming we hadn’t paid and making a comment about dementia that felt completely out of place. I pointed out the payment left on the table, and she seemed unaware that it was there. Additionally, the background music was playing through the stereo, but only one side of the speakers was working, which was really annoying. Based on this experience, we won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Joe and Effie have been running their restaurant for many years, and their expertise really shows. The lasagna is an incredible value and has become one of our favorites!

I ordered takeout and got a Lamb Gyro, fries, a salad, and baklava for dessert. The salad was excellent, and the gyro was decent, but there was a bit too much olive oil, which dripped onto my new shirt and left a stain I can't remove. The baklava, unfortunately, tasted like it had been cooked in the same oil as the fries, making it too dry for my liking. Having lived in the Mediterranean region, I tend to be quite particular about Mediterranean cuisine.

We've been looking for a good Greek dinner since Mykonis closed, wow, this is it!!! They exceeded our expectations

If I had a word to describe this place it would be as follows. Syros is the greatest mix of Italian and Greek I've had close to the Canadian border. We used to go to Mykonos over near the Bellingham Airport before they ceased operation, and we were looking for a new Greek eatery ever since in the area. We found Syros a few months later, and I highly recommend this place for dinner and lunch.
