Bland, very oily, and dumbed down for the Caucasians who drop by. I've had this kind of food many times in Cali and this place is not up to par.
The first time I had Burmese food, I thought it to be very similar to Indonesian food, until I had the green tea leaf salad.
My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Hermann's last weekend. We shared the Ploughmans Platter as a starter (we were starving!) which was delicious (with the young waiter very helpful with removing some of the additions I couldn't eat due to my allergy). I had the chicken and my husband the steak. We were both very impressed, the chicken looked simple, but was delicious, and everything on the plate worked very well together. My only suggestion would be to perhaps have a wider range of beers (although I know it is a wine region, some just prefer beer!)Overall a lovely experience. Very relaxing and not too noisy.
A must for a mid week lunch. Surroundings are beautiful and relaxing. We had the pork cutlet and the chicken delicious. For starters we had the trio of dips yummy. A must have with the meal is the wine pairing a must have to enjoy your meal.We will be back.
