We had breakfast this morning at The Table Cafe on our way home after a few days in the Barossa Valley, and it was probably the best breakfast of our trip. The corn fritter stack with egg, avocado, and crispy bacon was delicious, and the side of thick toast was perfect. The flavors were fantastic, and there were half a dozen other tempting options on the menu. We almost wished it was lunchtime so we could try the other dishes available. Overall, it was a well-deserved stop and we highly recommend it.
I decided to order the Caesar salad with chicken, for which I paid extra. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and difficult to chew. I would not recommend it to anyone. When the waitress asked if everything was okay, I mentioned that the chicken was very dry. Her response was that maybe it was overcooked. She also offered to bring me another dish, but I declined. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be returning to this restaurant.
The restaurant is in a stunning location, and the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. The breakfast was scrumptious, and the coffee was excellent! I highly recommend this place.
My partner and I had lunch here. Good service and food was excellent and good value. It's away from the bustle of other Barossa towns and we enjoyed a relaxed interlude in a pleasant environment. We chose to sit outside and although the furniture is...not as poshy as inside, it was comfortable and much cooler as it was a warm day. Will be back for the Mushroom stack!
