Although I have noticed that the prices have increased here, as they have at other places, which is a bit disappointing. The food is decent, not amazing. Despite this, we have frequented this place many times and will continue to do so. The dishes arrive hot and taste fresh. I especially enjoy the hot and sour soup.
The dining experience was decent. I ordered the lunch special which included kung pao chicken and roasted rice baked rice. The dish consisted of rice, carrots, and a small amount of egg. It was average. The kung pao chicken was okay, with a good amount of chicken but lacking in chili oil and the complexity typically found in this dish. It would suffice for someone who is hungry. The hot and sour soup was tasty and the egg roll was good. It was disappointing to see that some restaurants cut corners with cheaper ingredients. Overall, my experience dining at this restaurant was just okay. I have worked in a Cantonese restaurant before and have had better Cantonese dishes elsewhere.
I personally don't prefer the Chinese food at this restaurant, but I wouldn't say that it's bad. I prefer Americanized Chinese food, so I won't go into too much detail about it. However, many other people seem to enjoy it.
I've been here for many years. always friendly and always the best to eat. tonight.
Ordered the Kung Poa Chicken which should be prepared with a spicy brown sauce. This dish had a clear peppery sauce that tasted horrible. Hot Sour soup has tasted the same every time I have had it. Here it tasted horrible. Can’t even describe it. I asked for hot oil and got siracha sauce.
