It looked like a million small pieces of beef had been grilled in the room and the smell of grill was very heavy. The owner was very polite and friendly. I decided not to dig into $20+ dollars of endless beef and opted for a squid dish for lunch. After a from scratch cooking wait, I was pleasantly surprised, it was very good. I think this place is a bit tired but worth a stop in. Even if you just wanted to experience a 1970s Korean restaurant basically unchanged.
When you first walk in, you aren't sure what to expect. The place looks run down and furniture is outdated. You are also greeted by a nice lady. The vents doesn't seem to work as once it once did. The smell is somewhat intoxicating. The smell of broiled meats lingers in the air. The food seems to take a little while to get to you. Probably the lady is all by herself at the moment. The other guests seems to be relaxed and enjoying the food. It was approximately 20 minutes before my food came. It looks and smells tasty. Time for me to dig in.
One of the best Korean BBQ I’ve had....meats was marinated with lots of Love flavorlicius hands down
Owner lady is very friendly and takes great care of her guests. Waitress staff emulates her every expectation. Food has always been excellent. Exterior decor, can't miss the canary yellow. Who really cares? Interior could be considered tired. Usually busy.
Great and legit Korean BBQ. All you can eat and warm hearted service. More of a traditional experience. I typically plan on sitting for at least an hour and not have to rush to leave. For that mindset, this is a fantastic place. Bulgogi, pork belly and spicy pork are my recommendations.
