The place is run by a mother/son duoThe mom cooks, the son works the front (with help from a young woman)__For the starter I had poêlée de cèpes.
In advance: in august many restaurants are closed in lyon. therefore you cannot trust all opening times here in the trip advisor. best to call if open and in any case make a reservation in any bouchon! let the hotel call. we have found the caffe du jura after several unsuccessful attempts. also there it was called, complet and only on friendly hooking was then a table assigned to us. well noticed in the open with the note, in rain there is no claim to a table in the restaurant....The menu had several surprises, which even a person familiar with the German home cooking might cause some discomfort. Certainly one of the best lyonnais cork! nothing but that, yes! decoration from the 30s in the smallest details (up to the server and the addition),. a lot of originality in the map (the best Lyon specialties are there)! The kitchen is made "fully home" by the boss who has been behind the stoves for over 40 years, only with fresh products from the market. very tasteful cuisine, elaborated with great care, very good wines to accompany everything! helpful staff and good advice! a Lyon gastronomic pass!
A typically Lyon setting of the last century! very pleasant! an irreproachable welcome, a tiptop server !the meal !in input, a hairy of girolles and its parsillade! divine !suivie de la famous andouillette beaujolaise ( à la strawe de veau) bouillon sauce au vin blanc ! like divine!the whole accompanied by a very acceptable white mâcon!thank you to the whole team for this very pleasant moment!I highly plebiscite?
