Typical Bouchon food, very well executed and good service
If you want a beautiful little bountyonnais in the hypercenter of Lyon, which is really worth the price, it is. We then ordered herring for appetizer the Andouillette and foie de veau for our main meal and the tarte de praline and tarte de citron for dessert paired with a beautiful bottle of red wine. Foam began to finish, it was delicious and very satisfying. The herring was fresh, potatoes were perfectly cooked (you can cook it no less or more than he did), the Andouillette was very tasty and justified, the foie de veau was generous and was actually the highlight of the meal (i.e. crispy outer layer and delicate on the inside), that even people who would not necessarily like to try liver. The Tartes just looked out, but surprised you at the first bite. Not too sweet and the texture and taste were fine. Everything was perfectly cooked and the service and the cook were incredibly warm and accommodating. You can't go wrong here. A must try.
Great place, amazing authentic food and really welcoming and accomodating to me as solo, English speaking traveller. Hope to visit again soon!
A cozy restaurant with a simple menu. We just wanted to try something local to Lyon and the dishes here seem to be a good introduction for us. The red wine isn't very good though, strong unpleasant nose with bland aftertaste. Friendly staff and good service.
