Charlie's Sala Thai Restaurant

We are regulars to this establishment and it never fails to impress. The restaurant has a homely Thai interior. It is cosy and intimate. The chef/ owner interacts with the customers. He is delightful. The food is superb and beautifully presented. Exquisite flavours. Just don't ask for very hot unless you mean it. Excellent place to take the family. Very quiet on a Monday night. We had the place to ourselves received personal attention from the chef.

Recently visited that place, 4 times in just 2 week. Loved the food, it's just delicious. Can expect more from it. Food is consistent in its taste. Definitely a must go thanks

As always, Charlie's was excellent. Best Thai I have found in Canberra. The money bags and Chu Chee Eggplant are outstanding

Takeaway delivery during covid restrictions. Tom Kha Kai coconut chicken soup was So yum. Hot (temperature), clean, tang and balance. Good chilli in chicken chilli basil.

The friendly service and amazing way they treat their customers has to be experienced in person to be believed. All of the staff are first class in a very family-oriented business. They always put customers first and provide excellent food. Given the current pandemic with COVID-19, unfortunately they can only do take away or home delivery at the moment. I hope it is resolved soon so that Charlie's team can once again provide exceptional service in person at their wonderful restaurant. The food is also exceptional. All of their dishes are cooked with care, love and use fresh, local ingredients. If you are working from home, then I would highly recommended giving Charlie's a call and ordering your lunch from their wonderful staff.
