We chose the Smashed Avo and also the Mexican Omelette. Both meals were pleasant, and... portion sizes were generous. The service was good, and the staff seemed familiar with the locals who regularly call. After our meal we explored the many shelves that were in stock with imported treats and beautiful gift ideas. I came with beautiful jams, Chutneys and shortbreads, all imported from Scotland. I recommend the Scottish Chutneys of Mrs Bridge, who were just delish! We took the baked cheesecake later. It was creamy and delicious definitely one for cheesecake fans. I would like to return to Hansel Gretel at the next visit to Canberra. See attached photos.
Stopped here as I starved, dear people and the food was nice and fresh coffee was sensational and hot inside had pile of space to sit and enjoy Decor was excellent well made
Bad place. Putrid inside and poor management. Avoid ordering goods online as they NOT DELIVER OR REFUND
Hansel Gretel is a great place to meet with friends Friendly staff and pleasant environment. Good selection of dishes and cakes Relaxing atmosphere
My mother and myself have been Purchasing ground coffee here for years. Approx. 1kg each monthly. During my last visit I was charged an extra 3 because I wanted the coffee in 4x 250 gram bags and was told that I should have been charged...this every time I’ve been purchasing coffee there for 10 years sometimes I split it in 500g bags or 250g bags. Working it out we have purchased well over 7000 worth of coffee beans there in the past 10 years alone. I was told that the paper bags are expensive. If they want to make profit from paper bags and charge 1 for them that’s fine but we will take out and buy our beans elsewhere.
