If you're looking for a place with small, overpriced portions and bland food, this is not it. I am giving three stars simply because our server was decent. The special of the day, "powder pork," resembled a sponge on the plate. It was gooey and lacked any smoked flavor. The tiny sweet potatoes were overly sweet and very small in size. The best dish was probably the roasted squash appetizer. Overall, we were not impressed and most likely will not be returning to this restaurant.

Woody's is situated right off IH-10, making it a convenient stop for me. I tried the Texas rinderbrisket sandwiches, which were tender, smoky, and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and provided quick service, and the restroom was clean.

I only write this remote l review to simply manage and show peculiarities that negative reviews have a high influence on the acquisition of new customers. I'm traveling for living so I'm always looking for the hot spots for big family owners. but I “ always” check star review and read reviews. although the negative feedback to the service is not important to me as I always instruct to go. quality and quantity is what I'm researching. sadly all the most negative reviews I wouldn't disturb to be disappointed. they also need to display their prices on their menu. I don't want to give up orders asking what the price of objects is. it not only wastes my time, but also your personal.

I never had been here before, but I like grill and I wanted to get something to lunch without coming out of the car. I got the brisket lunch with bohnen and coleslaw and everything was very delicious and it was worth the $13 that it cost. the service was also good. when I opened the box, my first reaction was that it was a smaller part of the brisket than I expected, but all tasted great and the meal filled me up. I'll be back.

My first time here and I will be back. We showed up at 9:30 and they close at 10. Becca was working the bar and could not have been more accommodating. She was so nice and an absolute delight to be around. A lot of times right before close restaurants can be a bit pushy. You know, try and rush you out. And the food isn't always up to par. I'll tell you what, Becca made us feel like friends and Kim cooked as if we were kings. I can't thank the ladies enough.
